Thomas Jefferson Pullen

Thomas Jefferson Pullen (1834 – February 27, 1897) was a lifelong resident of East Windsor and Hightstown. He became a member of Hightstown Lodge #41 on July 2, 1858. Prior to becoming Worshipful Master of the lodge in 1864-65 he served as Secretary (1859), Junior Warden (1861), and Senior Warden (1862).

Pullen, who was born in East Windsor, worked in a nursery for most of his adult life according to available census data. He and his wife Isabella Pullen VanKirk had two sons and two daughters, two of whom sadly predeceased Thomas. This includes Thomas Jefferson Pullen, Jr., who died before his first birthday.
